style="text-align: justify;">New York – euro exchange rate is stable on Monday (Tuesday morning GMT) after hitting a three-month low, as investors digested the weekend election political turmoil in France and Greece who threw question the austerity measures the euro zone.

The euro was at 1.3052 dollars around 2100 GMT Tuesday (04:00 GMT), down from 1.3082 dollars at the same time Friday.

Before the New York market opened, the single currency together 17 countries in the euro zone has slipped to 1.2954 dollars, its lowest level since January 25.

Kathy Lien of GFT euro recovery record “suggests that investors expect that the political uncertainty in Europe will be resolved quickly.”

Against the Japanese currency, the euro out of the lows but remained lower, at 104.28 yen, compared with 104.46 yen late Friday. The dollar inched higher to 79.88 yen from 79.85 yen.

Investors seemed cautious given the political developments in Europe over the weekend.

In France, the candidate of the Socialist Party, Francois Hollande, overthrew President Nicolas Sarkozy on Sunday, becoming the first socialist elected in 17 years to lead the euro zone’s second largest economy.

In Greece, the main parties in favor of a bailout (bailout) EU-IMF country, lost control of parliament.

“The market has been walking back from the brink a little wake up soon after the election results in Greece,” said David Gilmore at Foreign Exchange Analytics.

“It’s still negative for the euro, but this does not immediately end the euro zone and the departure of the Greek,” he said.

Tommy Molloy, chief dealer at the stock exchange at FX Solutions, noted that trade was “very thin” given in the UK market closed for bank holidays.

“Now the biggest question is what relationship the French market with Germany after (President Nicolas) Sarkozy goes. Ball is in the hands of Hollande as what kind of relationship that will be looking forward,” said Molloy.

BNY Mellon, Michael Woolfolk echoed the uncertainty.

“France supports the German approach to deal with the debt crisis of Europe is going down, but it is too early to say whether this will encourage a change,” said Woolfolk.

“Of course the possibility of Greece leave the euro zone has increased, although not a 50 per cent.”

The dollar rose to 0.9200 Swiss francs from 0.9180 francs late Friday.

But the dollar weakened against the British pound, which is taken 1.6189 dollars compared to 1.6156 dollars.

Dollar up after Decrease BoJ Monetary Policy

Business

TOKYO – The dollar rose against the yen in Asian trade on Friday after the central bank of Japan (BoJ) announced the easing of monetary wider than had been anticipated.

The dollar changed hands at 81.22 yen in Tokyo afternoon trade, up from levels below 81.00 yen before the BoJ announcement of the much waited and 80.96 yen in New York late on Thursday.

Against the euro, the greenback was at 1.3201 dollars, rose from 1.3240 dollars.

The single European currency was at 107.20 yen against 107.18 yen.

The central bank decided to take additional easing measures by increasing purchases of government bonds and risky assets of five trillion yen as part of long-running efforts to end deflation.

Japanese government bond purchase program will be increased 10 trillion yen, but the bank will reduce the supply of six-month fixed interest loans against collateral collected at five trillion yen.

The central bank also decided to extend the maturity Japanese government bonds purchased under the asset purchase program to be up to three years from two years.

Easing measures come as a surprise and could be a supporting factor for the dollar against the yen, said Minori Uchida, senior analyst at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.

Societe Generale chief economist Takuji Okubo noted Japan BoJ extended the deadline to raise funds to purchase assets to 70 trillion yen into the end of June 2013, not the end of 2012 is set to 65 trillion yen.

“The shift of this deadline is to reduce the impact of the action. What BoJ is not sufficient to restore the long lost credibility because of the fight against deflation, “he told Dow Jones Newswires.

BoJ’s price outlook report issued in the afternoon. Earlier media reports said the bank would have predicted that prices would rise less than one percent next year.

Figures released Friday showed Japan’s inflation rate reached 0.2 percent year-on-year in March, up from 0.1 percent the previous month. However, higher energy costs are a major factor contributing to this increase.

The dollar was mostly lower against other Asian currencies, dipped to 29.23 Taiwan dollars from 29.38 dollars in Taiwan on Thursday and became 1134.15 1137.40 South Korean won from won.

The greenback also fell to 30.83 Thai baht from 30.87 baht, to 42.44 Philippine pesos from 42.62 to 9188.00 peso and Indonesian rupiah from 9190.00 dollars, while edging up to 1.2423 Singapore dollars from 1, 2413 Singapore dollars.

World Oil Price Varies in Wavy Trade

Business Review

U.S. oil rose slightly as traders bet that the weaker U.S. growth would push the Federal Reserve toward more stimuli.

While the decline in the Brent oil because of concerns about the growing problem of Spain.

In thin trading, New York’s main contract, West Texas Intermediate crude (WTI) or light sweet crude for June delivery, gained 48 cents to close at 104.93 U.S. dollars per barrel.

Brent North Sea crude for June delivery fell nine cents to settle at 119.83 dollars per barrel in London.

The Commerce Department reported that U.S. gross domestic product grew at an annual rate of 2.2 percent in the first three months of this year, slowing from 3.0 percent pace in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Some thought it was a sign that the Federal Reserve could launch a third round of asset purchases.

But progress was limited by concerns about the growth on the other side of the Atlantic.

“The problem of the euro zone caused a lot of concerns about demand,” said analyst Ken Hasegawa of Newedge brokerage firm.

S & P on Thursday cut its ratings Spain two levels to BBB-plus, and adding a negative outlook, saying it expected the economy to shrink this year and next year.

The Spanish economy is the fourth largest in the 17-nation euro zone.

S & P also warned that the budget situation worsened and that the banks are likely to increasingly rely on official sources for funding, as they grapple with piles of bad loans, mainly in real estate.

Adding to the gloom, official data released Friday showed unemployment in Spain has risen to 24.4 percent in the first quarter.

Investors fear Spain may follow the Greek-style spiral of decline and trigger chaos in the market, in turn hit global energy demand.

Spain has the highest unemployment rate in the industrialized world because of the declining economy fails to absorb millions of workers who have lost their jobs since the property bubble burst in the massive 2008.

This decline has been exacerbated by government austerity measures for the strict control of public deficits and reducing debt mushroomed, making the job more difficult to obtain.

How Pay Day Loans can Safe Family Finance

Business Review

Cash loan online

pay day loans

It’s just one meeting of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of the United States, the Federal Reserve or the Fed, to make a depressed gold price down to its lowest level during the last three months. The Fed’s reluctance to push back the monetary stimulus to investment gold makes expectations among investors lose the passion.

This situation makes the price of the commodity futures exchange in the United States fell 3.5 percent and perched on the position of USD 1614.10 per ounce for June delivery troin. This is the largest decline experienced in the trade of gold a day that has occurred since the end of February.

Monetary stimulus, especially in the form of lower interest rates, usually conducted by the Central Bank to move the economy. Through such policies, the cost of borrowing money or credit will be cheaper. This will further reduce production costs and selling prices can be suppressed. Therefore, consumption of fixed mobile and has a positive impact on a country’s economic growth.

In the case of gold, the Fed admitted no longer prepared to cut interest rates in the U.S. banking system. Spontaneous response to the policy, given the lag between monetary policy and the policy implications of the birth, known as the lag in the economy, much faster than in fiscal policy.

Because of that, just direct the mighty U.S. dollar exchange rate against a basket of currencies including the euro world. The implication, depressed gold prices.

But do not be too worried, as turmoil in the monetary sector is very volatile or highly elastic to changes. Therefore, not necessarily long-standing pressure on gold.

Looking at the current global economic situation, there are no strong signs that can ensure that the financial crisis is really resolved. While investment is a “fight” or “counter cyclical” the economy is gold. Not surprisingly, these commodities are often used to secure the wealth in the midst of economic uncertainty, both within and outside the country.

At three months of early 2012, the price of precious metals began to rise 6.7 percent in response to the correction of the dollar against six major currencies. It may be that this continues, given the crisis situation that has not ceased, and there are many investors who hold gold to secure investments in other instruments.

Of course not mean that gold prices might not go down, especially if the price rise has reached the saturation point. Therefore, caution should still be treated in spite of its reputation for gold investment is quite good in keeping the property value. The average price is always higher than inflation.

Fluctuations that occur is not fundamental. Expect the economy in a big country like the United States longer to recover; so that investment can yield gold is skyrocketing.

But as a form of vigilance, gold investment should be intended for long term as a hedge (hedging) for the existing assets. Luckily, if the rate of return can be greater than expected, especially in the middle of the imbalance between the supply of gold demand.

Understandably, gold dredge from the earth is not as easy as printing a car or make a plastic cup that can be produced at any time.

Equally important, avoid greedy or greedy behavior in the investment. Save in a basket of investment property. Do not forget to recognize the target and the level of satisfaction when the funds invest, so that common sense still more dominant in determining the investment.

Bear State Compensation Lapindo

Business
<guid
